Anima II was my first substantial stone sculpture. I had been working on it for several months when I found the original drawing of the dream that led to Anima I. Anima I didn't look a thing like the drawing, but what I now call Anima II was its spitting image.
Surprise! I had had no idea until that moment that the sculptures were related.
After I finished it, I traded the sculpture for a mouth full of gold, then got to see it in my dentist's office until she retired.
(Some people evidently asked if it was a tooth.)
