Dancer was my earliest attempt to capture a sense of motion and balance in a static medium.  In that sense, many others descended from it.   Arabesque.  Night Bird.   Dream Person. Torso in Motion.   The images illustrate the idea of thrust  as a dancer might express it in motion.
